As StockWatch is operating online since 1999, our greatest challenge was to migrate the business logic and the 17 years worth of legacy data to a new database structure with third-party data integrations (ATHEX services for XAK and XAA realtime data) and to visualise stock market data in realtime.
The website collects stock exchange data and offers information on the various stocks and companies through a Java connectivity. All operation ended in great success! The site also includes news, opinion articles and relevant information on business creating a sense of community. We chose to approach this with an international feel but highlighting at the same time the local news and market.
